Death and Re-birth of Skateboarding

I never ever wanted to be a professional skateboarder. I LOVE skateboarding too much to do that. I am a big fan of Lakai footwear, despite the fact that the last video they dropped should be their last. They put too much into it. They were trying to make a skateboard video, then something else happened. Why would you ever want to be the best at skateboarding? That isn't what it is about. Deadlines and skateboarding don't even mix. Why would skateboarding ever want to be the biggest and best sh*t out? I mean it will become like Hip Hop, super commercialized; and there is so much wack a$$ hip hop out that Hip Hop has lost crediblity. Why would you want everybody to skate? Why? It is to the point that cats on the very same team that put this out are over it. OG's leaving the team, young gunners leaving the team, the person with the best part and one of my favorite skaters to watch MJ, burnt on skateboarding. When the people that inspire the people are burnt, we have got issues. So, maybe that's is just what skateboarding needed in order for us to survive. This culture needs to remain underground and subversive in order to maintain originality and creativity. Cuz soon as stuff gets played you are looking for the next sh*t.

Lakai Fully Flared Intro

Lakers @ Golden State

Wow what a game! I never saw Kobe do a 360 like that before. Super ill! If you didn't already know. I am a HUGE Los Angeles Lakers fan. I love the NBA in general.

If you live in an NBA City, take advantage! Some people don't have the luxury of watching the best ballers ball. But, since I am a player, coach, referee and fan of basketball I love to go to games. So far I went to see the Rockets, Bulls, Clippers, Blazers, and Lakers (twice!).

Life is short so do fun stuff.

Mind Field

I went to FTC last week and picked this up. This is more than a skateboarding video. It is art. It helps pass the time while the tendonitis is flaring up in the achilles. Man, this is some good work. Go get yourself one!

KB24 61 in MSG

I did some foreshadowing for y'all. Putting up those videos, I knew he was going to do something special against the Knicks. I went to the gym @ 6am yesterday wearing my I "heart" NY shirt thinking about how I was skating past MSG in 2007 and what would Kobe be doing on 2/2/06...boy does he know how to play. The critics are saying my Lakers won't be able to win it all. Andrew will be back, its only a matter of time, until then its Kobe "Carpe Diem" Bryant and the whole squad doing it big. 61 points in Madison Square Garden (20-20 Free throws). MVP chants in The Garden? Even Spike Lee was part of the standing ovation.

8 Time Gold Medalist...Pot Smoker??

Hey Michael Phelps, what gives?! Wow, this is the last person I'd ever think to smoke marijuana. He kicked everybody's butt in Beijing 2008 and now look at him...15 minutes has just elapsed. Next, they are gonna take away sponsorships, and medals. Who are the kids supposed to look up to now?

The Greatest Finals Performance...so far

I have been watching the NBA for a LONG time and I have seen my teams win the whole thing plenty of times. But, this performance by Michael Jordan against Utah has to be the best I have seen in long time. I HATE the Bulls, seriously I don't like them at all, but I LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOVE me some Jordan! Every shot he made he drained it, super butters.

ANKLE INSURANCE!

T-Mac, Where you at?

report from Canadian Press

HOUSTON — Rockets guard Tracy McGrady missed Saturday's game against Golden State due to a sprained left ankle, the latest in a long list of injuries for Houston this season.

McGrady, Houston's third-leading scorer, was hurt in Thursday's practice. McGrady had played the last three games after missing the previous six with soreness in his left knee, an issue that's kept him out of 16 games this season.

Houston coach Rick Adelman said McGrady was "day to day." The Rockets next play Chicago on Tuesday.

"He won't play today and we'll see what he feels like after today," Adelman said. "There's nothing on the X-rays, so it's going to be a day-to-day situation, I guess."

T-Mac NEVER plays these days. He is the most injury prone NBA player that I have ever seen. In his 11 seasons in the NBA he has NEVER played a full season. Check out his "Fantasy" headlines from the past few months:

Distributors: 20th Century Fox Distribution

This is a good action flick! It was a way better story than I expected and the character development was well done for the most part. It had lots of action: shootouts, explosions, car chases, etc. But, it also had believable characters (except for the daughter). Liam Neeson didn't make this as cheesey as I thought it was going to be. I wanted to see it just because of the preview, when he is on the cell phone with the kidnappers and he got all grizzly and told them that he'd hunt them down and kill them; he sounded pretty gully. Overall, I'd reccomend this to anybody who likes action movies. It is worth a trip to the movies!
