If a man wishes to experience the joys and depths of life, he must not isolate himself on an island, emotional or otherwise. Nevertheless, if he associates with people and has relationships with people, he eventually will encounter someone who causes him pain. But he should not retaliate. he should not feel hate or seek revenge. Instead, he should feel greatful for the experience because without bad people and bad relationships how can he appreciate fully the good ones in the future?
